How do I add text formatting within a page, such as bold, italics, underlining, and more? How do I add a "live" link to another page? How do I add a picture?
Some pages provide built in formatting features. Other pages provide only plain-text entry boxes (but can still be formatted using HTML code as described here). See below for information on formatting options:
Some TeacherWeb page types include built-in formatting options. The "Enhanced Text" pages, "All Purpose" pages, and "Homework With Text Formatting" pages all allow you to format text in a variety of ways. You can create bold, italics, and underlining, add live hyperlinks, and more.
The "Enhanced Text" page type can be updated from any computer or browser.
The "All Purpose" page type can be updated from just about any computer with a current version of Java - Click here for more information.
To update the "Homework With Text Formatting" page type, you need Internet Explorer 6 (or later) on a Windows PC.
To add new pages such as this to your site, go to your Update Index and click the Add New Pages button near the bottom of the screen.
Live Links (Hypertext Links) can be added to your text in several ways. Click here for more information.
It is possible to post graphics to the top or bottom of any page. To do this, go to your Update Index and click the Edit Page Settings button for the page you'd like to modify. You will see options to post a Top Image and/or Bottom Image. You can use images from our Graphics Library, or go to "My Library" to use your own uploaded graphics.
